Citizen ID Solutions
4G has successfully deployed Citizen ID projects in India that have enabled government agencies to eliminate fraud and made it easier for government agencies to distribute services more effectively. 4G has successfully managed complete end-to-end solution for large scale citizen ID projects from data digitization to biometric enrollment, to database de-duplication. The experience from these deployments has enabled 4G to build specific in-house expertise for methods, protocols, and thresholds in order to capture quality images and to perform database de-duplication for all three biometrics - iris, finger, and face.

National Population Register - Coastal ID
4G Identity Solutions is providing the Biometric Hardware and solution integration components for the National Population Register Project being implemented by the Consortium of Public Sector Companies – ECIL, BEL and ITI. The project is being taken up by the Registrar General of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India in selected coastal states of India. It is proposed to cover about 12 million people living along the coastline of 9 states and 4 Union Territories in the first phase of the project.

World’s largest Biometric De-duplication project
4G Identity Solutions is implementing the world’s largest Iris De-duplication project for the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The project involves consolidation and de-duplication of the existing Ration Card database of 82 million citizens with Iris codes of 56 million citizens. 4G ID will be responsible for performing over 6.26 quadrillion (6,262,668,889,152,840) Iris matches in search of duplicate enrollments. In addition, 4G will be employing demographic matching software to search for duplicate enrollments in records where no Irises were enrolled. The results of the De-duplication will be used for generating about 30 million survey sheets that will be used by Government officials for verifying every household in the state.
One of the main objectives of this entire exercise is to weed out duplicate and bogus Ration Cards which are estimated at about 5 million in the state. The Government estimates that it is losing close to $500 million every year on rice subsidy alone on account of the bogus / duplicate Ration Cards.
4G ID is also deploying a web-based online enrollment application to create a Unique Citizen ID database for 90 million citizens of the state. This database can be used as the basis for identifying and authenticating a person for delivering various government services through a single system. 4G ID will also integrate the solution with applications from the Housing Department and the Rural Development Department, among others which will help the Government in effective implementation of various welfare schemes.

United Nations World Food Programme: Ration Card Distribution
4G designed and implemented the citizen enrollment and de-duplication application for Ration Card distribution for Rayagada District for Government of Orissa. 4G provided complete technology solution for enrolling one million citizens which included:
-
Data digitization and mapping of existing citizen records
-
Iris, finger, and face biometric and demographic enrollment and de-duplication application
-
Back-end server application
-
Hosting of biometric and biometric datacenter at 4G Hyderabad offices.
-
Biometric de-duplication and matching optimization
-
Biometric capture protocol and threshold optimization
-
Ration card printing
