Top global award for Hyderabad ID firm
4Gid Identity Solutions presented ‘ID Outstanding Achievement Award 2010′ at the ID World International Congress in Milan.

Given in five different categories – ID Community Award, ID Leadership Award, ID Limelight Award, ID Trail Blazer Award and ID Outstanding Achievement Award – these are the world’s highly regarded recognition to contributors to development of ID technologies. .
Dr. Tripuraneni was presented the ‘ID Outstanding Achievement Award 2010′ last week at the ID World International Congress in Milan. The meet was attended by 450 CEOs, high ranking officials and Ministers from various countries. ID leaders from across the globe vied for what is considered to be the ‘Oscar’ of the ID World. After his nomination to the final round, Dr. Tripuraneni emerged winner among five contestants with highest e-voting across the globe.
“I am completely humbled by this award and I accept it on behalf of the 4Gid family, which has worked countless sleepless nights to overcome enormous odds,” Dr. Sreeni told The Hindu.
Nilekani too
Interestingly, for the first time, two Indians have won the awards in different categories this year. The stupendous work of Nandan Nilekani, Chairman of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) was also recognised by the World ID Congress that bestowed on him the ‘ID Limelight Award”. The awards are given to of the ID management community for their distinguished commitment, leadership and innovation.
